It’s that time of year again. Put on your spookiest or funniest costume and join in the frivolity. So if you have the costume and need a venue, here are some ideas for Friday.
1) If you have kids, the Downtown Kirkland Association has a number of family friendly events lined up around town throughout the day.
Trick or Treat at Parkplace Center, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
Trick or Treat around Downtown Kirkland, 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Trick or Treat in Houghton, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
2) For the true Halloween fans, “Seattle’s Premier Haunted Attraction,” KUBE 93FM’s Haunted House, runs until midnight on Halloween night. It’s a little trek to the Georgetown area of Seattle, so plan appropriately. (Note: It has been deemed too intense for children under 12.)
3) Are you up for more of the “alternative” type of Halloween party instead? Well maybe Risqué Halloween 2014, advertised as a “sexier Halloween experience” is more your speed. Risqué will take place at The Showbox in Seattle and promised to be “one of the most alluring events of the year with some of the sexiest costumes and guests.” 1,000 guests, great music and hours of fun.
If you host a party here at the 101 Kirkland, be sure to send some pictures our way.
